The Stillness Series
I began the Stillness series in April of 2020—the early days of the pandemic. It was a time when many of us were forced to slow down and find new ways to connect with each other. For many, it also fostered a reconnection with the natural world. Using hand-carved porcelain leaves housed in layered wood panels, I explore the delicate balance between the strength of solitude and the fear of isolation.
