Biophilia | Solo Exhibition | Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum
The term Biophilia describes the innate human tendency to seek connection with nature as part of one's well-being. The work is comprised of two 15-foot panels that together carry over 1,000 hand-carved clay seeds and leaves suspended by individual sewing needles.
